Being “God’s Elect” (1 Peter 1), means more than just special treatment. It means being chosen by God, to show a troubled humanity what it means to have an experience in Christ; His presence, strength, and joy. His Election, is not just a mark of favor but it is your Badge of Responsibility!!! You are responsible to live a life in front of the ungodly, that will cause them to want to know more about your Heavenly Father! You are responsible, to be some of the evidence, in the Earth, that Jesus is real and so is His Love! You are responsible to be Different than the people in the world that don’t know our Savior! As the Elect of God, you just don’t have special treatment and favor, you have a RESPONSIBILITY!!!
